About the Opportunity Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies (CPS) is seeking to fill part-time positions for English Language Evaluators. Candidates will evaluate videos of international applicants’ English skills in responding to verbal prompts. Evaluators are expected to complete each evaluation within 24 hours of receiving the taped interview. Hourly expectations are 8-10 hours a week October – December 2022. Positions are online with flexible scheduling. CPS will provide the evaluation rubric and training. Qualifications: Must be comfortable using computer software, Microsoft Teams a plus, and have appropriate set-up to be able to work from home, including a computer with camera, reliable high-speed internet, and a quiet location to work without disruption. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher, excellent communication skills, and experience assessing speakers of English as a second language (ESL) and/or teaching ESL are required.
