Summary: Policy issuance, order inspections, processes bind requests and cancellations by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Expedites and issues new and renewal policies, endorsements and other processes into various computer applications and internet sites.

  • Handles a high volume of electronic files and work with various computer applications and internet sites.

  • Issues new and renewal policies, endorsements, cancellation and reinstatements maintaining productivity and quality standards as may be established by organization.

  • Arranges, labels, and organizes digital pages in system according to the work queue and organizational guidelines.

  • Uses computers and computer systems to research, enter and process information.

  • Processes transactions and adjust records as necessary and within company policy and procedure guidelines.

  • Ensures accurate and efficient data entry into computer programs while working under stress of deadlines.

  • Communicates effectively with individuals/teams and reports any system problems to supervisor.

  • Creates, indexes and routes electronic files in various programs to appropriate department.

  • Order and review inspections.

  • Follows up on all open and unresolved inquiries.

  • Assists in training new team members.

  • Provides technical assistance to the underwriting staff

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have one (1) to two (2) years of administrative, clerical or data entry experience. Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications as well as web-based applications.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures. Ability to write business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Technical Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and Internet browser applications. Must be able to use a variety of office equipment, including scanner, copier, fax machine, and calculator.
