From fine dining to fast-casual…R365 does it all! *Please note, this position can be based in Irvine, CA, Austin, TX, or remote The Data Processor will be responsible for processing and balancing the daily payment files. Additionally, they will provide support to the customers for any questions and/or research needs related to payments. How you'll add value:

  • Receive payment files from customers, validate file formats

  • Manage daily processing tasks while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Maintain solid time management to ensure deadlines are met

  • Potentially troubleshoot issues within the files

  • Process files into our partner’s system and balance file totals

  • Provide reporting back to customers upon successful processing or any payment errors

  • Operate with a zero-error mentality

  • Support customers with any research needs or product Q&A

  • Work with customer for any correspondence needed by our partners

  • Provide other team members with support regarding processing data

  • Work with other departments as needed for support

  • Maintain existing department procedures

  • Maintain various operational reports for processing tracking and balancing

  • Assist with research and resolution for outstanding processed payments

  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • 2+ years of experience in data processing or similar processing operational roles

  • Payments and/or financial experience preferred

  • Must be a learner, always looking to improve themselves and the people around them

  • Strong understanding of basic technical programs (Windows Office Suite, file formats, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Committed to excellent customer service

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, driven

  • Curious and demonstrates passion to learn

  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, presentation

  • Intuitive, self-directed and strong trouble shooting skills

  • Easily adapts to changing environments and processes
