Job Summary: Responsible for utilizing the company’s systems and templates to produce legal documents (including service contracts and retirement plan documents) under the direction of other team members. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Prepares service agreement packages consisting of legal contracts and related documents for applicable services/product lines of Newport and related entities
Works with web-based document system to finalize plan documents by updating checklists as directed and producing final document packages
Creates signature-ready versions of legal plan documents for external clients and transmits for signature
Updates project management tools to track workflow for service agreements and other document projects
Uploads documents to our internal and external websites, document storage drives and other software as needed for processing service contracts and documents
Monitors team emails, provides responses and processes documents received
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
Other projects as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities (none) Required Education, Experience and Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and at least 2 – 4 years of office experience compiling and processing legal documents
Experience with preparing legal or other documents
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
