Duties: • Participates in data capture activities to collect all known sources of recorded dosimetry, radiation data, and relevant information applicable to completing dose reconstructions for individual claimants, evaluating SEC petitions from classes of employees, and responding to inquiries and technical issues raised by the ABRWH. • Provides support for a range of data collection tasks, such as assembling and shipping supplies and equipment; disassembly of documents bound by various methods to preserve document integrity; copying/scanning and ensuring quality of image for documents selected by HP reviewer; tracking document/box provenance; updating data collection database; and developing reports for management. • Performs data entry of individual dosimetry claimant information ascertained from data capture trips. These individual dosimetry data are utilized for TBD development, potential dose reconstruction, SEC evaluation, and basis for coworker comparison. • Performs quality control of the individual dosimetry data entry.


Education/Qualifications: • Requires high school diploma or equivalent with one to three years records management, data entry, administrative, or technical support experience required. • Able to work independently, be self-motivated, handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and have good organizational and time management skills. • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite along with good analytical skills and a close attention to detail. • Able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals and work in a team environment. Certifications/Licenses: • Certification in Records Management is preferred. What You’ll Be Doing The primary role of the Accounting Clerk is to assist in the daily recording of accounts receivable, cash collections, accounts payable, and expense reports. The Accounting Clerk assists the Manager of Accounting with preparing accurate financial reports in conformity with US GAAP. This position operates within a framework of controls that are to be maintained and improved when necessary. The position will work closely with all members of Percepta Finance during the month-end close and complete monthly reporting requirements.

During a Typical Day, You’ll Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily Accounts Payable And/or Accounts Receivable invoice processing

  • Invoice and expense report coding and processing

  • Other various data entry, records backup, filing, and reporting duties to support the monthly close and account reconciliation processes

  • Assist in the entry of Cash Receipts and support Account Receivables collections. Support Cash Management responsibilities

  • Create and produce monthly and quarterly reports in accordance with US GAAP (i.e. Accounts Receivable Aging, Accounts Payable Aging, transaction registers, invoice registers etc.)

  • Analyze monthly reports to ensure accuracy

  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations

  • Maintain and improve the internal control environment

  • Liaise with the rest of the Finance team to ensure all reporting is completed by the due dates

  • Prepare and review journal entries for the month-end close

  • Other administrative and clerical finance functions as needed and requested

  • Other Ad Hoc reports

What You Bring to the Role Education

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or working towards a degree in Accounting / Finance program


  • 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role required

  • 3 years of experience with cash receipts, A/R invoicing, and A/P processing required

  • 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite experience required (Advanced Excel skills preferred)


  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to maneuver through various systems to locate and provide accurate information

  • Displays professionalism and positive attitude

  • Excellent communication skills required for working with external and internal customers

  • Well-versed in Hyperion, Excel, Oracle, Sage, and Outlook applications

Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who is an organized, detailed-oriented and professional to perform the job as an Underwriting Support Clerk in our Chicago office. You will be part of a Detail team responsible for data entry of our incoming new/renewal business, electronic filing, policy review and other operational functions. The objective of this position is to efficiently process a large volume of submissions and policies in a timely manner while maintaining accurate and detailed records.

Essential Functions

  • Set-up and update the submission record for each new/renewal applicant or customer in the company’s PolicySystems database. Data required includes customer name, address, industry code, stock symbol, SIC code, assigned underwriter, broker office, and other pertinent data

  • Generate specific reports associated to the customer and store them in their appropriate electronic folder

  • Electronic filing of underwriting documents and correspondence, including renaming documents according to set standards

  • Generate customer renewal letters for the underwriting assistants as needed

  • Begin the policy issuance process by reviewing/comparing underlying binders to policies to ensure accurate policy issuance

  • Prepare loss runs, renewal lists and daily submission reports

  • Post-pandemic duties:

  • Receptionist relief during the lunch hour time

  • Open incoming mail

Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned above. Specific tasks may change from time to time.


  • 1-3 years of office experience in an administrative role preferred
