The Benefits Coordinator (Leaves & Accommodations) will report directly to the Manager, Leaves & Accommodations. A day in the life:

  • Support our employees with Canadian and USA leaves and accommodations enquiries by providing thoughtful and informed responses to tickets in ServiceNow Enhance the overall interactive process (for applicants requesting accommodations) by escalating or re-routing tickets as needed, in a timely manner, while maintaining strong lines of communication with stakeholder(s) until resolution

  • Partner with Leaves and accommodations specialists and coordinators to ensure consistent response times against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Create a seamless employee experience while treating inbound enquiries with the utmost of care

  • Partner with People & Culture Business Partners/Advisors to review, approve, or negotiate leaves and accommodation requests

  • Track IDEA Enquiry feedback and direct employees to various resources as requested

  • Educate and provide updates to leadership around changing and updated laws to facilitate compliance at federal, state/provincial, and local levels

  • Serve as a liaison and resource to colleagues regarding leaves and accommodations concerns and processes

  • Support with tasks across the Health & Wellbeing team as required


  • HR experience/education

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow is preferred

  • Strong communication & attention to detail

  • Discernment and decision-making

  • Using discretion and maintaining employee privacy around sensitive information

  • An interest in leaves and accommodations legislation and best practices
