Pricing Associate at - Remote, a successful e-commerce heating, plumbing, and HVAC supply company, is looking for a Pricing Associate to add to our growing Pricing Team in our Finance Department! This individual will be responsible for working with team members to ensure the accuracy of product pricing, negotiating discounts and problem solving with vendors, and customer satisfaction. If you are passionate about using data to make informed business decisions and building relationships with others to provide our customers with the best possible service and prices, we’d like to hear from you!

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters for up to four times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Role Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Location: Remote (Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington) Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of costs and vendor information from 100+ brands on our website

  • Create and maintain price files for each brand for reference for the entire company

  • Gather information for price updates and promotions given from our vendors

  • Communicate all price/promotion change information to the rest of the department

  • Investigate and discuss pricing discrepancies and changes in vendor information with suppliers

  • Negotiate discounts or extra payment terms on large orders

  • Creatively produce solutions for resolving pricing discrepancies

  • Help navigate through issues with suppliers regarding pricing issues

  • Push back on immediate price increases and hold vendors accountable for providing notice

  • Create price comparisons to analyze where we can improve our costs

  • Investigate areas of opportunity for margin (top seller nets, cheaper costs through distributors, etc.)

  • Analyze trends in the market and gather reasons for price changes to help predict upcoming changes

  • Foster relationships with vendors and representative contacts

  • Assist our Data and front-end Pricing Teams with adding new items to our website


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a similar field

  • Creative problem-solving mindset and numbers-driven mentality

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on quality service and relationship development

  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate with team members and build relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
