About Us BookNook is closing the early-learning gap for kids in grades K – 8 through pairing dedicated tutors with proven technology to teach the reading and math skills kids need to succeed. School districts across 35 states entrust BookNook’s virtual tutors and learning platform with the job of supporting their students. About the Role BookNook is looking for a person passionate about closing the literacy achievement gap to take on and own the customer lifecycle with BookNook’s partners. We strive to close the opportunity gap by providing an equitable best in class solution. This person would be responsible for ensuring a successful implementation, working collaboratively with a team dedicated to this work, and securing the renewal and expansion of the partnership. The Customer Success Manager will cultivate relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the educational landscape. The ideal candidate will be results driven, comfortable taking initiative, and has the ability to balance advocating for the needs of our business and the needs of our customers. At BookNook You Will:

  • Own, manage, renew, and expand the relationship with our SaaS and tutoring partners which include schools, districts, and non-profits while working to meet the needs and goals of each of your accounts.

  • Own, manage and drive success with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Consistently achieve revenue and usage targets set with your manager.

  • Build advocacy within organizations, districts, and at school sites to ensure adoption and usage of BookNook suite of services.

  • Work cross functionally within our organization to ensure positive educational and economical outcomes

  • Other duties as assigned

You are a good fit for the role if you have:

  • A consultative, strategic, and problem solving mindset that drives you toward a goal.

  • Passion for leveling the playing field and providing literacy support for ALL students and families.

  • Organizational skills and the ability to implement scalable, sustainable processes.

  • Experience with customer service or support.

  • Expertise at creating materials used to present during online/ in-person meetings and trainings,

  • Demonstrated success in building long-term professional relationships.

  • Deep understanding of technology in the classroom and the Educational Technology landscape.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Prior experience and knowledge of a CRM.

  • Demonstrated success in adopting new technology.

  • B.A. or B.S. in Education, Business, or other related fields.

  • 3-5 years experience in K-12 Education preferred and a demonstrated understanding of the K-12 education space and trends.

  • High proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, in particular, Google Sheets and/or Excel and Google Mail

  • Ability to regionally travel: 10-20%.

  • This position is located in the Pacific Time Zone.
