Community Boost is seeking an Email Marketing Associate Digital Specialist to help our clients achieve greater success with their email marketing efforts. The EMADS will focus on executing on email marketing strategy creation, building and execution across a variety of nonprofit clients. This position is for you if you are a lifelong learner with a passion for email and a desire to rapidly expand this area of business in the nonprofit sector.
What you will do:
Manage client email strategy execution for up to 15-20 nonprofits.
Email Campaign Creation: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop and execute effective email campaigns that align with clients' objectives, including acquisition, engagement, and fundraising initiatives.
List Segmentation: Implement audience segmentation strategies to deliver targeted and personalized content to different donor segments, maximizing engagement and conversion rates.
Content Development: Write compelling and persuasive email copy that conveys clients' missions, stories, and calls-to-action while adhering to best practices for email marketing.
Email Automation: Set up and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, nurture sequences, and re-engagement campaigns, to enhance donor retention and engagement.
A/B Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B tests on email elements (subject lines, content, CTAs, etc.) to optimize performance and achieve higher open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze email campaign performance using email marketing metrics and analytics tools, providing data-driven insights to improve future campaigns.
Compliance and Deliverability: Ensure email campaigns comply with relevant laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices, and work to improve email deliverability rates.
Client Support: Collaborate with our marketing team to provide expertise on email marketing strategies and recommendations for achieving campaign objectives.
What you bring:
Email marketing experience of at least 1-2 years is required
Agency experience of at least 1 year is preferred
Proven experience scaling email marketing strategies
Hands-on experience in creating email marketing automation strategies
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills
Experience developing automations and launching campaigns across multiple ESP’s
Ability to plan, coordinate, organize and supervise multiple projects simultaneously
Inbound HubSpot email automation experience is preferred
HubSpot Academy certifications are preferred
